ABOUT US

Who we are

Rotary International, the world’s oldest service club organization, is made up of some 31,000 clubs in more than 166 countries. Rotary’s motto is “service above self”. Its more than 1.2 million members form a global network of business and professional people who provide humanitarian service, encourage high standards in all vocations, and help to build goodwill and peace in the world.

Rotary club membership represents a cross-section of the community’s business and professional men and women. The world’s Rotary clubs meet weekly and are open to all cultures, races and creeds.

The main objective of Rotary is service in the community, in the workplace, and throughout the world. Rotarians develop community service projects that address today’s most critical issues, such youth at risk, poverty, hunger, isolation, illiteracy, environment, and violence as well as promoting programs for youth leadership and world peace.

Getting involved with Rotary gives you the opportunity to make a difference. We’d be delighted to have you attend a meeting to learn more about Rotary. Please contact our President or any Rotary member.
